Our mission is to provide educational services, to youth and adults, that lead to profitable employment or entrepreneurship. Access to our network of mentors coupled with training in our neighborhood digital learning centers, advances opportunities for economic self-sufficiency and personal success.

Lake Worth Resource Center
Lake Worth is a small city with large communities of Central American, Mexican, and Haitian immigrants. In the past several years, the city has struggled to work out issues related to day laborers waiting along the main avenues for work and lack of integration of these immigrant populations into our community. The Mentoring Center and Partners responded to the needs of the community and the City of Lake Worth and created the Lake Worth Resource Center. This volunteer-based center works to match the long-term unemployeed residents with employers while providing job readiness training, English classes, green industry skills training, integration mentoring, TPS application assistance and more.

Academic Mentoring | Tutorials
The Mentoring Center works to improve student academic achievement in our digital learning centers. Our animated , interactive, intervention reading, math and science lessons help to prepare students for standardized tests. Students that typically do not respond to textbooks and lectures succeed in our visual learning environment. Tutors work from an Internet-based, sequenced, standards-based curricula to meet the needs of students in remote, rural or urban communities. High Achievers Mentoring | Tutorials
Targeting high-achieving , underserved, 1st - 8th grade students, this series of tutorials works to ensure students remain top performers throughout their middle and high school careers. Call the Mentoring Center to learn more.
College Prep Mentoring
Providing college application, essay and interview assistance, this workshop helps students create the best possible application package for the colleges or universities and helps students apply for financial aid. Ask about our computer-based SAT and ACT prep classes.

Model Mentoring
Volunteer to mentor children ages 4-15 who have an incarcerated parent. "In this one-to-one mentoring program, each youth is matched with a trained adult mentor with the goal of building trust and communication that will help the child perform better in school, have stronger family relationships, and be more equipped to avoid negative activities or peer relationships."
